Supporting the Selby Trust’s Digital Skills Program

Thanks to Daria’s ongoing contributions and the technical expertise of James, Complete Projects was presented an opportunity to support North-East London charity The Selby Trust so that they can continue to provide essential training for their community.

The Selby Trust is dedicated to empowering individuals from BME (Black and Minority Ethnic), refugee, and other historically excluded communities. Their mission is to equip these individuals with the skills, confidence, networks, and knowledge necessary to overcome life’s challenges and build a brighter future.

One of the key initiatives they offer is their Digital Skills Training program which ensures participants are fully equipped to navigate computers with confidence. From learning to type to mastering applications like Microsoft Word and Outlook, these digital skills are crucial for personal and professional development.

Getting the laptops ready

To support the program, we were able to donate seven laptops to The Selby Trust. This donation will ensure that the charity can continue to provide this indispensable training to people who may not have had access to such support otherwise.

If you or your business have any unused technology that might otherwise go to waste, we encourage you to consider donating it. The team at The Selby Trust would be thrilled to hear from you, and your contribution could help someone gain the skills they need to transform their life.
